We provide aid to orphanages and we run one as well.
Based upon the success of our orphanage in Bangladesh, other countries are asking for their own.
FIRST ORPHANAGE IN BANGLADESH
When we started this project, we had only eight children. That number has grown to over 82 kids, 42 of which are junior monks. Based on our success, Myanmar and India are requesting we set up orphanages in their countries.
We make and provide cooked meals for the children and we provide raw rations such as rice and vegetables to orphans in Bangladesh and 11 other countries. We regularly provide shoes and clothes as well to these growing kids.
The young monks need training and robes. Yet the older monks need support too for the good work they are doing. Living costs, food, clothing and basic necessities are needed by our teaching monks too.
