Like every second Sunday, today was another busy and deeply meaningful day for the PLC team. We were grateful for the opportunity to practice loving-kindness and compassionate care for our homeless brothers and sisters in downtown San Diego.
Early this morning, around 7:00 a.m., our volunteers arrived to prepare and cook food with care and dedication. Today’s offering included hot, home-cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce, bread, cookies, muffins, and hot chocolate—simple meals shared with heartfelt intention.
Special thanks to Trang and Tiffany for lovingly preparing a wonderful variety of homemade cookies, muffins, and bread. In addition to the meal offering, we also distributed blankets, socks, gloves, beanies, and underwear—essential items that are especially needed during the cold winter days.
