Yesterday marked our very first day of offering in Las Vegas. Although the weather was a little chilly and windy, the day was filled with energy, joy, and excitement. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community, especially during the cold season when warmth and care are most needed.
Hot soup, coffee, and hot chocolate were the perfect offerings to help keep our street friends warm and healthy. Yesterday’s menu included corn cream soup, hot chocolate, coffee, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, muffins, bananas, and water. Being able to offer warm food and drinks on such a cold, windy day was truly a heart-warming and meaningful experience.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Chris and Tiffany for their incredible hospitality—providing accommodation and space for cooking for the people we served. We are also deeply grateful to our wonderful volunteers: Ave, Jack, Jennifer, Cliff, Tiffany, Diem, Trang, and Ha. Your kindness, dedication, and teamwork made this offering possible.
May this act of service bring warmth not only to the body, but also to the hearts of all beings. ![]()
