Yesterday was our busiest day, as we carried out two rounds of offerings.
In the morning, we offered Eight Auspicious Porridge, and in the afternoon, we distributed sleeping bags, T-shirts, socks, men’s and women’s underwear, gloves, sandwiches, bottled water, bananas, hot chocolate, and coffee.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sleeping bag sponsors: Tiffany, Kimberly, Ying-Hsiu Chen, Trang, Sophie, JJ, Yin-Mei, Ha, and Lien Huynh. Your support went beyond providing sleeping bags—you helped our street friends endure this freezing winter. These were truly life-saving supplies, and we deeply appreciate your kindness and compassion.
Our sincere thanks also go to Tiffany and Chris for generously providing the house to stay, organize and prepare all these offerings. Without your support, it would not have been possible to serve our street friends in such a smooth and convenient way.
Last but certainly not least, we would like to express our deep appreciation to our wonderful volunteers: Ha, Trang, Diem, Tiffany, Cliff, Jennifer, Jack, and Ave. Thank you for your hard work in arranging and distributing so many items without taking any breaks. Your dedication and selfless service are truly inspiring.
