This Thursday, it was raining heavily—raining cats and dogs—so we were unable to go out for our usual homeless offering. However, yesterday we made up for it by going to downtown with many bags of clothes and blankets, along with muffins, croissants, tangerines, water, soda, and ice cream beans to share with our street friends.
A heartfelt thank you to our dear friend Steven for generously donating the delicious organic homegrown ice cream beans fruit. Your kindness brought freshness and joy to many.
Yesterday, Khenpo Thuthop also joined the meal offering. He is the President of Palbar Ling Center in Nepal. He is currently here in the United States visiting several prisons, offering blessings and sharing the precious Buddha Dharma with our dharma brothers behind bars. We are deeply grateful for his compassionate efforts and his meaningful visit.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the PLC events. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much to us. Without your support, none of this would be possible. Together, we are able to bring warmth, food, clothing, and hope to those in need.
