On the second Sunday of every month, members and volunteers of Palbar Ling Center (PLC) gather with a simple but heartfelt mission—to serve and bring warmth to our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. Today’s outreach was another meaningful day of compassion and generosity.
With the support of our volunteers, we were able to serve around 100 people in the community. Today’s meal included homemade spaghetti, along with apples, tangerines, bottled water, and hot coffee. In addition to the food, we also distributed bags, clothing, and many pairs of shoes, offering practical support to those who need it most.
Acts like these may seem small, but for many people they bring comfort, dignity, and the feeling that they are not forgotten. Through this program, PLC hopes to embody the Buddhist spirit of compassion, generosity, and service to all beings.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Khenpo Thuthop for his guidance and blessings, and to our dedicated local volunteers Trang, Ha, and Tuyet, whose kindness and hard work made today’s program so meaningful and successful.
May the spirit of generosity continue to grow, and may the merit of this offering bring benefit and happiness to all beings. Amitoufo ![]()
